Assayyed - Ottawa

Great food and great service. Their steak is juicy, tender and flavourful. We had their Porter house steak and their chocolate and coffee puddings are superb. Will definitely go again

I have had Assayed 3 times now and it has been wonderful every time. The food is mouth watering due to the beautiful presentation and the taste is amazing. The meat is juicy and vegetables are grilled perfectly. The Lebanese appetizers are incredible and the menu has many options. On top of this, the staff (including waiters and chef) are extremely friendly and make you feel right at home. Price is also very good. I highly recommend this to anyone in Ottawa looking for a unique and delicious dinning experience.

Almost drove by looking for Digby's. Saturday lunch only my Mom and I and owner/chef/waiter. Another couple came in later. My Mom enjoyed her fish and chips. I had a chicken dish - it was a little overcooked. Reasonably priced.

The breakfast menu isn't in English, adding to the authenticity, but the extremely friendly waiter was more than happy to translate! Fresh vegetables right away, a large basket of pitas, and fantastic food. When the bill came I thought the waiter had forgotten to add something because it was so cheap!
