First time I went to this restaurant was ok April 2017. And it was amazingly good.I live in Montreal so it's not super close to my place, but when I go to Ottawa and I have some spare time and I need to eat, that's the place.I've never tried their regular dishes, but so far, all the vegan dishes I tried were very good. What Monte Kutch doesn't like about Asian Stars Restaurant:
Tasteless special gravy on the pineapple stir fry, 1 piece of pineapple in the whole dish, cold? soggy cucumber vegetable, 1 piece of cauliflower, tough and not braised beef take out deep fried shrimp soggy and again tasleless sauce? needs MUCH help View all feedback.
Best restaurant in the world! Food is always amazing and I have never disliked anything I have ordered! The owner is really nice and remembers her customers and will come and talk to you, which gives it a special something. Prices are extremely reasonable and portions are great as well. If you are a vegan and are hanging out with meat eating friends this is the best place to go! You can bring them out for a meal you both enjoy with no compromises.
Amazing, fresh tasting food! One of the best asian food places I 've ever eaten at. Consistently high quality food, I 've eaten here 7-8 times, and will come back no questions asked. They have a wide menu to support everyone 's tastes, including vegan options for those so inclined. Pricing is fair, portions are well sized, and service is solid. Another great plus is that their take-out options don 't suffer, unlike a lot of places that just 'aren 't as good at home '. If you try them, you won 't be disappointed!

Hands down, best restaurant in Ottawa! My absolute favourite. Have yet to try a vegan dish I have not loved! They always do it right, super polite and friendly, cozy and casual atmosphere, yet fancy enough for bringing along a date.
My daughter with her family from Calgary were visiting and they chooses this close by restaurant. The 4 of them are a mix of vegan and vegetarian. My wife and I had the meat menu options. Never saw my grandson finish off a plate so fast ever.
