I love Menchies! It's great frozen yogurt with do-it-yourself toppings. Be careful though, it can get expensive as you do pay by weight (but this is common for a lot of fro-yo places, or at least the ones I've come across). There are a few locations in Ottawa now, but the downtown one is my favourite despite the cramped space and the crowds, simply because they have nanaimo bar toppings which are to die for. Always has the best flavors of froyo and the staff is super friendly and welcoming! Definitely one of my favorite places to go in the Byward Market!

Great customer service! Every visit is a pleasure and the froyo is fantastic. Menchie's Byward location has a really welcoming environment and the staff is very helpful.
This place is very nice, but the prices are more expensive than a normal froyo place. We tasted the following flavours: peach, original tart, blue raspberry tart, chocolate, vanilla, cake batter and chocolate coated banana. My favourite was the cake batter!
Most delicious frozen yogurt I have ever had. Yummy ! Love the concept : do it yourself ... There are loads of flavours and loads of toppings to choose from. Every ice cream lover's dream.
