Fantastic Chinese cuisine! The menu is extensive, offering both authentic dishes and Canadian Chinese options. We particularly enjoyed the spicy eggplant, spicy green beans, lemon chicken, and Chinese broccoli. While the restaurant isn’t fancy, the food is exceptional. Small hole in the wall mom pop shop, love it. First came in here on a weekday and the place was decently filled with mostly Chinese customers, definitely a good sign. I've only tried a few dishes here based on previous reviews and those items have been great. Harmony restaurant provides a more authentic cuisine, so come by if that's what your looking for. They do have lunch specials with more Americanized dishes (sweat and sour chicken balls etc... , but I've never bothered to try.
If you order from Harmony 's 'Canadian Chinese Food ' menu, you 're missing what makes this place a gem, which is its traditional Northern Chinese and Sichuan dishes. Try the Black Mushrooms and Peanuts in Vinegar, the Stir Fried Green Beans, or the Vermicelli with Minced Pork (a Sichuan dish also known as Ants Climbing a Tree). Or try my favorite item on the menu, the Special Hot Deep Fried Tofu, which is richly flavored with spices and cilantro. The servers are friendly and happy to advise you. I would never have thought to try the Special Braised Trotters if not for my server 's recommendation.
DELICIOUS. Went there for the first time two weeks ago with my boyfriend and was in for a tasty surprise. The food is so delicious I went again this week! <br/ <br/ Very Vegetarian friendly and their menu has expanded from the one of the website. <br/ <br/ The tofu Yuishang is to die for. The hot and dry eggplant has little bits of coriander in it ! Please go there. The hostess/waitress is very friendly.
Fantastic!!!. They have amazingly delicious food and it's authentic (I lived in China for 6 years). Also it's cheap, I honestly worry that their prices are too low and they'll go out of business but they still seem to be hanging in there. Next time I go I'll make sure to write down the names of my favourite dishes (can never remember their exact names). Definitely go!
By far one of the best and most authentic places for Chinese food in town. Their Chinese hamburgers are a must have there. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff as well.
