Tomo Restaurant - Ottawa

The sushi selection is limited and was ok. Not bad but not great. Won't be going again.

By far the best sushi in the city. Highly recommend!!

They mixed up our order and half of our order was late to the table so the consistency of delivery was delayed. The interior of the restaurant was not very pleasant very unkempt. The patio was nice and we had originally booked the patio but it looked like it would rain and the only comfortable 4 seater table was not covered by awning which was a shame. They should have covered the entire area like the neighbouring restaurants. If it was, we would have had a much better experience on the patio vs. the unkempt inside.

Alright restaurant, our server was great, but we were sat across from the bar and about 45 minutes from the end of our meal, the bartender had a group of his friends come and hang out at the bar talking very loudly, then looking at our table since we were one of the last ones there and shush each other, realizing the topic of conversation was inappropriate. Food was good, could have been better.

Our waiter although she was nice, she wasn’t very helpful. We mentioned it was someone’s birthday and she did not even congratulate them or gave any extra special treatment which is common and appreciated. She was asking very basic and obvious questions regarding our food and dropped off like 10 forks when we only asked for 2.
