Cafe Lettuce - Otaki

I have to say this place it a bit of a hidden gem. Tucked in beside Kathmandu on the main road, i'd always seen it and finally gave it a go. Smoked fish pie if you a fan you MUST try this, worth every cent. We dined on a public holiday and NO SURCHARGE!!! and i'd go back even if it just was for Butterscotch slice it was so yummy. Good service meals came out pretty close together. Friendly staff, great range of food to suit the foodie or those on budget that just have a gap to fill. Family friendly yet plenty of room if you just want a space to chill away from kids.

I want to say that I have been going to Riverstone Cafe for over 5yrs now. I have always recommended Riverstone Cafe even before the new owners took over and to this very day the new owners and staff are always friendly, they know me by first name basis, so they are practically like family and that is what I like. I still continue to recommend Riverstone cafe to clients or even if someone asks me where is a good place to eat, of course my preference would be Riverstone Cafe. A cosy, colourful cafe with a good menu and a great cabinet selection. If you can't choose which slice to buy you can get a tasting plate of 4 to try for the same price, which is great for two!

Service what quite a rush, this could be due to the Public holiday (Labour Day) also good took about a half an hour but in my opinion the BLT and the CLAT we had was definitely worth the wait. There were a lot of fries but you can never have too much fries it’s a cute and relaxing place to have breakfast.

Second time we have stopped here in the last few months. Staff are always friendly and the food have been great. highly recommend we will definitely be back next time we are passing through. The Think shakes are amazing!
