The head chef owner is also the waiter. Food was very good. We started with swordfish ceviche then had the bombette sausages plus squid cherry tomato pasta.

I won't add to the many comments suggesting that this restaurant with its slightly disappointing front off the street, holds the welcome surprise when you enter... read more I won't add to the many comments suggesting that this restaurant with its slightly disappointing front off the street, holds the welcome surprise when you enter the cave beyond where you actually eat. The other pleasant surprise is that whilst other restaurants are closed on a Tuesday (and many closed throughout the winter), this one remains open! So, two good things already! Beyond all this, however, is the warmth of the welcome and the quality of the food. Both are of a very high standard and whilst some of the restaurants in Ostuni seem utterly focussed on the itinerant tourist trade, it is nice to see locals enjoying a meal. We look forward to returning.
