It doens't look like much from the street, but as you go inside you enter a lovely beautifully decorated room in a grotto. The food was excellent. I particularly loved my orecchiette with tiny mussels that was seasoned perfectly. There are lots of restaurants in Ostuni but this one stands out for quality and ambience.

Food was delicious and very reasonably priced. My mum had the tuna steak and voted it the best meal of our entire trip to Puglia. 10/10

Fabrizio, the owner and his wife have created a relaxed atmosphere in which the guest feels easily at ease. As a long time vegetarian I can rarely be surprised, but here they did! In such a way that we returned the next day. Especially recommended: a soufflé of chicory with cream of burratina and an on-the-spot Parmesan-mousse infusion; artichokes cooked at low temperature cut thin and served with strips of parmesan and truffle; panciotti with scamorza, eggplantmousse and dried tomatoes. All creative, delicious and extremely well prepared.

We have been here many ti... read more This is a dining experience. An unhurried dinner with wonderful wines and amazing foods. The chef is Donatella, she knows how to cook. We have been here many times, we have tried many of the appetizers and all are wonderful and memorable. Sometimes when we go they have specials and the last time we had a fish special that was so delicious. Everything cooked to perfection. I ordered the last time we were there a gnocchi that prepared with vongole (clams) and pesto crema. I am still talking about it. My husband had a meat sauce (it was a special) with pieces of meat and polpettini. The place is beautiful. It is a cave! It is cozy, it is quiet, it is comfortable. When you first walk in there is a bar with a piano but you go down the stairs into the cave and sit at these comfortable tables and beautiful grey lucite (transparent) chairs. Fabrizzio will come over and suggest a wine or a special. Have patients in this place, it will be a leisurely dinner, everything is prepared fresh. We gone here many times and never get tired of the menu, or the food because Donatella varies the choices. Leave room for dessert. Last time we had a semifreddo that will always be remembered but the Tira Mi Su is something to think about too. All desserts like everything else is made in house. This restaurant is a hidden gem.

The room wasn't cold as suggested by some customers and food was excellent. If you are ooking for a place where food is prepared on the spot , this is the place. I recall this customer picking up the IC controller without asking the owner and making a fuss on numerous ocasions without reasons. The owner offered them to switch table but they refused. I guess the lack of integrity and honesty on relaying what happened this evening persuade me providing an honest and factual reflection on what actually happen that night.
