Burger King - Oshawa

If you're planning to have a Whopper, the only way to order it is with extra cheese.

The food at this restaurant is typical of a Burger King. However, the staff made a mistake with my order right from the beginning. The restaurant itself was not well-maintained, as the tables were dirty and the floors were sticky. The garbage cans were also overflowing.

BK used to be a favourite growing up. In recent years prices have risen and food standards have dropped. Burger patties are practically paper thin, and the buns very doughy, soaking up the wet condiments and falling apart. Not worth the cash. Onion rings are small and the coating is gritty and not mouth-pleasing. The cheese sauce is just a gooey, chemical-tasting mess to dip them into. Washroom was so disgusting I did not use it. Do yourself a favour and go to aHarvey's for real burgers and rings.

We arrived at the restaurant 15 minutes before closing time, but they refused to serve us. We had to wait in the drive-thru line until the car in front of us was served.

I dropped by this restaurant for a quick, lunchtime meal. My Whopper with Cheese was delicious and well prepared. Service was prompt and efficient. The seating area was clean, well-lit and comfortable. Restrooms (gentleman's anyway) clean and serviceable. I enjoy the way that BK cook their burgers and the sauce they use. Recommended for anyone who likes the same experience.
