One of the best unagi dishes and rice I had in Japan. The skin is crispy, but the meat is very juicy and soft. Even you have it with the tea, you can still feel the crispy when the Unagi. Had to wait for a while, I was there during lunchtime, but I can assume it's worth it. View all feedback.
I only had a couple of chances eating the authentic unagi in Japan. So it sounds like a personal opinion, but I would say nothing can compare to the dish. I'll visit here again without a doubt.
The large one from the second sentence (combo) ordered. Never tend to eat so oily and hard. Could be a little expensive, but if your budget is okay, then this place is a must. The restaurant is also very clean as the tables do not feel sticky at all. Really nice hospitality too! It is a must when you visit Osaka once.
Glad to have this chance to experience “a taste of 300 years”. A very high quality of eel dishes. The three ways to enjoy eel is satisfying. Those eel snacks are also delicious
Eel was tender and there's was no small bones like you get in those none unagi restaurant. Despite we only had 1 hour to eat (including 30 mins waiting for the food) because we didn't make a reservation in advance, I would return here for next time I'm in japan
Amazing Eel Ochazuke. This place has been running for about 300 years and it does not dissapoint. Although this place this famous their layered Unagi Don, I've tried their Unagi Ochazuke because of how cold it was that day and I was so impressed. Their grilled eels are really really good. Better than some Eel places with Michelin stars. Definitely a must if you're in Osaka and into Eels
