Okonomiyaki Mizuno - Osaka

The okonomiyaki was super delicious. we had to place the order from outside the restaurent. they gave us a table later. the ingradients have already been prepared for us. they prepared the okonomiyaki for our table. that was a beautiful and first experience

My wife and I ate here in september 2019 and had an amazing experience. although we had to wait to be sitting because it is very popular when we sit down, it was very fast. it is really neat to watch them cook their food before them and eat them directly from the grill. we loved eating and enjoyed the snake too.

The okonomiyaki was pretty great, had a lot of options and it has a michelin star! But the queue is pretty long, so be sure to come early or get ready to wait

People flock to Mizuno so we are thankful that we lined up for just about 20 minutes. The kind female staff takes orders from people waiting in line. Be decisive since orders are locked in once placed with her (read: no extra orders allowed when seated inside already). If you’re seated at the 7-seater counter on the first floor, you might find yourself gawking at the beautiful eyes (and chest hair) of the kitchen staff while he makes your okonomiyaki in front of you. I see the point why Mizuno got the nod of Michelin for seven straight years after tasting their okonomiyaki. However, as a matter of personal preference, I have had better okonomiyaki in three other restaurants. You should go check out Mizuno and see for yourself if it makes it to your most memorable restaurants in Osaka.

They are hands down the best okonomiyaki on the planet high quality ingredients, Fantastic flavors, great textures, so many ways to have your okonomiyaki, and they make it fresh for you, right in front of you. But, the staff could care less about you if you were local or from Bhutan. All they care about is making great okonomiyaki, you eating it, and you leaving and paying. It’s my local and they treat me like this, so please don’t take it personally. I have no idea what their problem is. As a Local, I’m embarrassed that they are such cold.
