Taproom 260 - Orleans

Loved the salmon maple dish, the Rustica and every dish I tried actually. I'm there every week Always satisfied Especially yesterday, when the restaurant was not that crowded, the chef made miracles. Loved every detail on my dish. One of my favorite restaurants in Ottawa.

A clean and spacious place with beer on tap and other drinks. They have live music on Saturdays. A good band played there last night April 24. Most people weren't wearing a mask anymore. Pub food. Maybe because the band played 80's music the place was filled with an over 40s crowd who liked to dance, even though there isnt much place for it. Nice people.

I came here for my wedding anniversary so far service is well and drink and food delicious ????

I?ve been here a few times while in town for work. The servers are great? that?s where the positive ends. The food has always been disappointing and overpriced. My last visit was build your own burger and soup of the day. The soup was burned, the burger dry, overcooked. I asked for no bun, came on a bun (not a dealbreaker for me but for someone who is celiac, it could be). I paid $3 for two small pieces bacon and $2 for the what must have been the last of the blue cheese blue cheese. I mentioned the issues to my server, she apologized and asked if she could get me something else. I declined and ask for the bill with just my beer on it, which she did. As stated previously, their servers here were always great, but that?s the only good thing I?ve had here.

Good service and nice spacing between patrons. COVID protocols were followed. Drinks knowledge by the server was fantastic. My party of 4 found that all of our 4 dishes were dry . They had lots of flavour but the actual dish did not have any sauce or moisture in it. The hamburgers were dry, the rice bowl lacked sufficient sauce as did the chicken curry roti.
