What SeeingGodsGlory doesn't like about Rosen Shingle Creek:
Average at best. Staff was very pleasant. Food was about average for hotel food and overpriced as you expect at a hotel. Place is dated and needs upkeep. Lobby furniture is stained and worn. What really got me was they charged to use the gym. I would get better at a Holiday Inn Express. No hotels charge for a gym. Beautiful grounds and hotel! They were able to get me a room when another hotel I had booked dropped the ball and couldn't find my reservation. Rooms were clean, nicely appointed, bedding was comfortable, food on site was fantastic, everyone was friendly. Parking is problematic (not enough spaces) so park early if possible.
Very beautiful hotel. There are restaurants and a store inside for your convenience. You never really have to leave the hotel. Prices are a bit high, but that's expected and everything I ate from the hotel restaurants was really good. I was here for a church convention.

What really got me was they charged to use the gym. I would get better at a Holiday Inn Express. No hotels charge for a gym. Bottom line if you go for a conference with a group it is okay. For a vacation or get away you can do better.
We were very pleased and impressed with this hotel resort. With 3 sprawling pools overlooking a pristine Arnold Palmer golf course, there is nothing short or a relaxing stay here.We ate at the sushi restaurant which was underwhelming at best. Service was good but sushi was just average considering the price. We had the scallop and crab roll which was $26.We also ate at the Mexican tequila restaurant which was delicious. Get the guacamole made right in front of you!We went to a park for 1 out of the 3 days in Orlando and the hotel does provide some transportation to sea world and maybe Universal? If you have a free day in Orlando, check out Discovery Cove. It’s the most underrated park in the US in my opinion.Rooms were very affordable when we traveled in mid-August. The hotel is massive and the hallways are long but I really have nothing else to complain about.Highly recommend this hotel. 5/5 stars!Rooms: Comfortable rooms
This is an amazing hotel. The location is absolutely beautiful outside. The staff is over the top fantastic. With restaurants and a 24/7 store there, you don't have to leave you get anything you may have forgotten. Three swimming pools, bars, you name it. I gave the room a 4 star, only because of the small bathroom size. Having the sink outside of the actual bathroom is fantastic, but as a bigger guy, the bathroom was a bit tight quarters.
