I can only say wow. This restaurant is not just a place to eat, it is truly an experience. It was an unforgettable evening with superb service, delicious dishes, and an amazing playlist. It's like being served art by incredibly creative chefs and then getting to enjoy each masterpiece right in front of them. It was a fantastic dining experience with a relaxed atmosphere in a unique space. Trust me, this is not an exa... View all feedback.
What Kim doesn't like about Kadence:
The food here was good. The sake was good and the server explained it well. However, for the price point, I want: great service with explanations of what the food is (we had to ask what every single course was); professional service (not a chef who is drinking alcohol during our whole experience a server who looked as if he just rolled out of bed); not hear foul language course discussions. The food is decent (4 stars because I enjoy sashimi and similar dishes) but it is overpriced (minus 1 star), especially the hand rolls and Umeboshi Shiso Onigiri. The Chirashi Bowl is a bit too salty for my liking. The service is good for takeout orders. Overall, it is a bit pricey for dinner with an average cost of $50-$100 per person. I would rate the food quality at 4 stars.
This place is very crafted, and very highly regarded. The restaurant is not exactly decorated outside, with easy to find signage, and is very nondescript. When you approach, it will be all black and is next-door to ABC liquors. When you enter, it’s brightly decorated with Japanese style paintings all over the place, and the staff are quite friendly and attentive. Obviously everyone in Winterpark knows that this is one of the restaurants that got a Michelin star rating. It is for a good reason because they make excellent food. Anytime they offer Onigiri we get it, especially since only onigiri is seemingly very difficult to come by in the Orlando area. Their offerings are unique, and utilize fresh and delicious ingredients. We highly recommend this place. I had the best dining experience ever at this restaurant. The food, service and atmosphere all received a perfect score of 5.
An experience unlike any other. Ask about Nancy Reagan. Hats off to Chef. Kanpai. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
My spouse and I dined at this restaurant to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary, and it was truly an incredible experience. The service was attentive and enjoyable. The food was exceptional in every course, with the highest quality seafood I have ever tasted. We dined in for dinner and the price per person was over $100. I would give the food, service, and atmosphere all a perfect score of 5. Highly recommended dishes include the Miso Soup, Sake Flight, and Sashimi.
