What User doesn't like about Hawkers:
hawkers can prepare vegan dishes for them when they ask the waiters to display them on the menu and to give them to the cook. it is an Asian restaurant, but very west in its organization. I tried the spring rolls with a nice, fried tofu and a Tom-Yum soup. it was not bad, but rather fat and not very good. the tom yum had little to do with that we have in Thailand. the setting is nice, but I wouldn't go if I changed o... At Hawkers, you can request vegan options by asking the waiters to point them out on the menu and specifying your preferences to the chefs. While the restaurant has an Asian theme, it is organized in a very Western manner. I sampled the spring rolls with vegetables, fried tofu, and a tom yum soup. The dishes were decent but a bit greasy and lacking in finesse. The tom yum soup did not quite live up to the authentic version found in Thailand. The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere, but I would choose other vegan options if available. The portions are generous, but the prices are on the higher side.
There are multiple menu choices available at this restaurant. I decided to try the tofu curry, and it was delicious. I am looking forward to sampling some other menu items. The servers are knowledgeable about vegan options and are helpful in suggesting ways to customize dishes to make them vegan-friendly.
I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. Initially, I was unsure about the vegan options as there weren't many displayed on the menu. However, I soon discovered that they have an online menu with various vegan choices. The server also helped me by offering numerous vegan options. What I liked most about this restaurant is that you can select items from the menu and request vegan alternatives. They offer tofu, a variety of vegetables, noodles, rice, and many other food options. The taste was also exceptional. I would definitely return to this restaurant and recommend it to my friends and family.
You can request vegan dishes at Hawkers by asking the waitstaff to highlight them on the menu and notify the chefs. This Asian restaurant has a Western-style setup. I sampled the vegetable spring rolls, roasted tofu, and tom yum soup. The dishes were decent, but a bit greasy and lacking in flavor. The tom yum lacked the authentic taste of Thailand. The ambiance is pleasant, but I may not return unless they offer more vegan options. The portions are ample, but the prices are a bit high.
