The food at this restaurant is outstanding and the atmosphere is fantastic. I ordered the chicken burrito with Colorado sauce (which I absolutely love) and my friend got the puffy tacos. Both dishes were delicious! We enjoyed sitting outside with our dogs and even tried the Tequila flights. The owner's flight was definitely worth the price. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about F&d Cantina:
Ordered the steak shrimp fajitas. The vegetables were over cooked. The steak was tough. Music volume much to loud for dinner. Ordered a side of guacamole, was charged $6, come on I no there's inflation, $6 that's outrageous.I have had better Mexican cuisine elsewhere. I won't be back. View all feedback.
Really nice spot near Thornton park for food and drinks. We had never heard of F&D but we’ve been been 3 times since they opened and love it. Delicious selection of elevated traditional menu items. The puffy tacos are amazing (huge portion) and the bacon wrapped jalapeños were perfect. When our food came out they brought out 3 house made hot sauce : so good, I wish they sold them to take home. They also have a full bar with a great house margarita. The decor inside is neat, upscale but still casual and the patio is covered if you prefer to sit outside. Can’t wait to go back.
F&D Cantina has absolutely beautiful decor and a warm atmosphere. I came in hoping for their off-the-menu Birria tacos but sadly they were out. I was having a difficult time picking something else but Michael was super helpful and offered to create a shrimp with fajita peppers quesadilla that wasn't on the menu. It really should be because it tasted amazing!
Out of towner with high expectations for Mexican food I thought my crab and shrimp enchiladas were great! Fresh ingredients and very flavorful sauces! Home made hot sauces and salsas as well! The watermelon margarita is also a must try! Not to sweet with fresh juice!5 stars all around.
Happen upon this restaurant on a cool and windy Saturday afternoon. Upon entering, I was completely fascinated. The restaurant was met with beautiful ambiance and gorgeous decor with exposed bricks and a huge centered serving bar.The hostess sat us promptly and actually ended up working as our waitress. Her customers service skills were excellent.Great variety in menus items, pricing is economical, food portions amazing and definitely satisfying. The chips and salsa can easily accommodate 2 people. The hot queso white cheese was delicious. The steak and plantain quesadilla is a yummy, tender, sweet unforgettable entrée. Large enough to feed 2. Apparently my initial plate was sent to the wrong table but they quickly made a fresh one with extra portions. Outside of that, this restaurant is a 5????? dining ? experience. Could've stayed there all day!!!So this review is from a dining experience on 02/05.After bragging to my spouse about the restaurant returned again the next day order something different requested for a side of guacamole without concern thought it would've been complimentary or at best a small nominal fee. Turns out it was a WHOPPING $6.00. Management REFUSED to offer a discount and thus this is the last visiting to this restaurant. Now down 2??
