I stopped by this charming little restaurant for a quick early lunch before heading to the Orient Point Ferry. It has a lovely, cozy atmosphere and the staff is incredibly friendly! I ordered the Quinoa Salad...
This place is amazing! The food, coffee, and baked treats are fantastic. We tried the egg sandwich made with farm-fresh eggs, avocado, and tomatoes on brioche, along with two delicious baked coconut goodies.
Got there before 8:30am but the store was open. The owner greeted me warmly and recommended a slice of the Lemon Poppyseed bread and oh my was it delicious. The lemon flavor was just the right intensity and the slice was moist and so tasty. Also had a cold brew that was mwah! Will return for more asap!

Love the Orient Country Store!!! Miriam's baked goods are other worldly. The egg sandwiches are unforgettable. But my all time favorite is the curried chicken salad. It's my go to lunch that always brings a smile to my tummy. This store is a neighborhood gem filled with old world goodness and friendly people.
