The coffee was also exceptional. Make sure to visit this place next time you're in Orange!

Despite being busy, we were quickly given menus to make our selections. Customers must choose their orders and then pay at the counter, with the food being brought to their table. Our coffee arrived halfway through the meal, but it was worth the wait. The staff had a slightly "old school cool" vibe that suited the atmosphere of the cafe. The location was convenient for us as it was next to the regional museum. The food was delicious, with generous portions (similar to American sizes) and a good selection of healthy and vegan options. We will definitely be returning!

However, do not expect to find anything on the menu for children or any flexibility outside of what is printed. We tried to order something different than what was offered and were rudely told no. They accused us of being in the wrong and then asked rudely what we wanted to do about it. While the food was good, the staff made the experience unpleasant. The kitchen closes early and there are plenty of other dining options available instead.

Eggs on cough and smash avocado are quite simple dishes, but they were well made. Coffee and freshly pressed orange juice were good. they ordered at the counter, got a number and brought the food and drinks to the table. the personal was friendly.

The taste was good, but the price was hard to accept. I recommend skipping the menu and opting for something from the glass display that only needs to be reheated if you want to avoid breaking the bank.

Each element on my plate was considered, cooked properly and compliments the other ingredients. Eggs perfectly poached and served with white and black sesame seeds. Extra texture, beautiful presentation. I would use nigella seed (as I do at home) but love that seeds were used. Its those extra details that elevate the dish. Tomatoes cooked properly and herbed. Im constantly frustrated being served undercooked tomatoes with no flavour. Nice to finally find a place that takes the time to cook them properly. The Tomatoes paired perfectly with the spicy chorizo (and also the haloumi that i stole from nieces plate). Flavourful mushroom. Plentiful bacon and sourdough. I didn 't even need to season this dish. 'The Feast ' was perfect and will get me through until tomorrow. Great coffee, in a mug big enough to swim in. If you want a meal that 's considered and a cut above, Groundstone is the place for you. Ill be back when I visit Orange again.

While it's not the cheapest café I've visited, the hollandaise sauce paired with my eggs Benedict was among the best I've ever tasted, and the coffee was excellent. It's definitely a place worth visiting regularly!
