Checked out this joint as it was nearby our Airbnb during our stay in OB. It has a great back porch that opens up on the bay and marina. I had wings that were smoked then flash fried and were really good! Drinks are good and the painkiller seems thestrongest. Bartenders and waitresses were very friendly and easy to talk to. My bartender was called Moonshine, great attitudeand cool guy! Would visit again.
This restaurant was ok. Things I loved were the restaurant is on the water at the marina, so the view is nice especially if you sit outside. The atmosphere is casual and light. The wait staff are attentive and happy. The food is typical. I ordered theshrimp skewers with grilled pineapple salsa. I got the grilled veggies as my side. I had a different picture in mind than whatwas presented. The pineapple salsa was finely dice, mushy, green, and only about a teaspoon worth. The cilantro rice was notmixed completely so there were spots of lots of cilantro and other spots just white rice. And I don't usually think of cabbageas a grilled vegetable but there was a lot of it. I liked the food enough especially the shrimp but it didn't come as Ipictured it would. All other dishes of my family looked and tasted great. So, I would return, I'd just ask more questionsabout my order first. Last thing, they have an outdoor bar area basically attached to the restaurant and the music was very, very loud.
It’s worth the wait. I had the blackened fish tacos and a bushwacker. We all got something different and everyone was well pleased. We were also able to watch as the fishing guides came in with there catch. We sat outside and even in the summer heatthe fans gave enough air to make it manageable.
My family and I visited OSO while vacationing in Orange Beach. We went with the loaded tater tots for an appetizer and we all very much enjoyed the ooey gooey goodness. For lunch, I went with the combo platter, my wife went with the fried fish sandwich,my daughter with pasta alfredo, and my son with fried chicken tenders. We were all happy with our food as well as the service.
Sat at the outside bar, wonderful service, took the recommendation of grouper sandwich. Doesn’t need the top half of the bun, for a lunch, you get plenty of French fries. But I bet if you stay and enjoy the view with a few beverages that top half comesin handy! Great sandwich, good value, awesome service!
