Contribute FeedbackLocated near The Wharf, this restaurant has been a go-to spot for concert-goers in the past. However, a recent experience left a bad taste in the mouth, as reservations made months in advance were unexpectedly cancelled. On the other hand, the Chinese cuisine served here received rave reviews for its flavorful dishes and fragrant teas. While some claimed the Italian dishes lacked authenticity, the food was still enjoyable with unique offerings. Praise was also given for the friendly service and a well-known chef's endorsement. Customers appreciated the accommodating staff, gluten-free options, and attractive outdoor seating. With a variety of dishes, from oysters to wood-fired pizzas, this restaurant seems to have something for everyone. And while the food quality received high marks, a concern was raised about the pricing. Despite this, the overall consensus seems to be positive, making Villagio Grille a notable choice for dining at The Wharf.
The best Italian restaurant in the area! You have to try. Right in the Wharf and near everything. Always good and friendly service and excellent food!
I had an amazing first visit to Villaggio Grille! The service and food exceeded my expectations. Our server, Charlie, was attentive and provided excellent care for us.
Located in the center of the Wharf complex, Villaggio Grille may seem like a touristy spot, but I highly suggest giving it a try! The restaurant was lively and our server was friendly, although she did make a mistake by forgetting our Caesar Salads that we had ordered. However, this mishap was overshadowed by the delicious entrees we received. I ordered the ribeye and my wife had the pork chop, both of which were cooked perfectly to our liking. My wife even claimed it was the best pork chop she had ever tasted! While Villaggio Grille was just a couple salads away from a perfect 5-star rating, I will definitely be returning in the future.
We had reservations for 5:30 but were seated when we walked in at 5. The waitress was very sweet and encouraged our boys to draw on the table (she won them over quick with that! . The food was good and the service was great! I recommend the oysters trio for an appetizer. So yummy!
Very clearly marked gluten-free options on menu. I had the house salad, oysters, and shrimp risotto. Make sure to get a reservation as it gets crowded during the busy season. Outside seating is great because you get to see the light show on the street at 8:30pm.
