Bliss Box - Orange
Bliss Box
Description
Tucked off the highway, this unassuming Cajun spot turns out bold, made-from-scratch comfort food—boudin, cracklins, crispy fried shrimp and hearty pork chops—served with friendly, attentive service and wallet-friendly prices. The vibe is casual and bodega-like, ideal for lunch or a road-trip pit stop. Most dishes arrive fresh and spicy on request, though a few diners noted occasional inconsistencies (burnt fish, soft sausage casings). Overall: generous portions, authentic local flavors, and fast-casual charm.

Ordered bliss box. Boudin egg roll and ball was good. Spicy sauce was tasty. The links had a soft casing which was off putting. Real gut buster but worth doing Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 2
The logo has got to have some kind of subliminal messaging, also never been here.

Decided to try on the way back from Lake Charles because they have a drive-thru. Too good! Unexpectedly good. We ate in the parking lot but I had Yelp open to write this before we were back on the road. Everything was fresh, homemade, and seasoned right! The quantities are large and very fairly priced. Customer service was sweet and attentive. It was obvious the staff cared. Fried shrimp were huge and cooked perfectly. Boudin bites.. I can't say enough. I'm so full but I wish I had more. I think it's only a kids meal ?? But it would be cool if they had an appetizer version with 8-12, or I'll just buy a few kids meals! Crispy outside and seasoned to perfection. Red beans and rice was delicious. It comes with 4 big chunks of their homemade sausage. I added a pinch of salt but that's personal preference. They also have a frozen menu with a ton of different kinds of sausage and meats to take home, including alligator! I'll be back!!
