Child friendly, there is a large sandpit and various toys... read more This is a wonderful gem hidden off the road and once inside a different world opens up to the visitor. Child friendly, there is a large sandpit and various toys and ride-ons to occupy them outside. Outside eating area is lovely on a nice day and inside is equally comfortable. Food we had (4 adults) was delicious and well presented. The family who run the premises are welcoming and friendly. Highly recommended - and whether you need to or not, don't miss a visit to the toilet!

It is a small family... read more This is a really lovely little place to go for a bit of lunch. As it's not on the main road it's very easy to not realise it is even there. It is a small family owned and run affair so the service is very friendly and casual. The food is fantastic, I usually get the marinated lamb salad which is sensational. There is lots of sculpted art works and structures produced from the owner inside and around the grounds which makes for a very pleasant atmosphere with some very unusual and delightful things to see on a walk around the grounds (like the toilet with a chandelier, stain glass windows and beautiful tiling). highly recommended for something different.

The cafe itself feels welcoming and homely, with delicious homemade food that is to die for. To the lovely ladies who run the cafe, thank you for all your hard work. I will definitely be telling everyone about the amazing pancakes I had here. And Vince, words cannot express our gratitude - it is always a pleasure to spend time with you. I guarantee that you will leave this place feeling happy and peaceful.
