What User doesn't like about Perkins Bakery:
My first time here. The wait for a table was 45 minutes . The food was good, but I thought a little pricey for what you get. Was surprised that our waitress didn't ask if we need anything after we got our food ... we flagged her down to get more coffee. She did ask when we were done see if we wanted any desert. I assume they were a little short staffed for a Sunday at noon View all feedback.
Since 1958 with almost 300 locations in 32 states and Canada, this family-run restaurant has produced commercial style cooked meals and baked goods. Style and floor setup is quite common with padded stands, padded chairs with tables and display counter with muffins, cakes and cookies. The waiting staff takes orders from your table and you pay later at the counter. Menu offers an extensive breakfast line from Griddle Greats, Farm Fresh Omelettes, Sensational Sunrise Skillets, Egg-cellent Benedicts and more. Lunch and dinners have many options of soups and salads, signature burgers, savory dinner chicks, simple comfort classics and seasonal specialities. And don't forget their always tempting variety of fruitcakes, cream cakes, cheesecakes, big muffins and cookies. I have now reached the age to join the 55 Plus Club and order a limited selection of meals at a reduced price. My country fried steak was a slightly baked beef steak with her country style cream sauce and came with two sides from a dozen choices. I went with the garden salad with shredded salad, diced tomatoes, Cheddar cheese, crumbles and Ranch dressing and the red potatoes and brown Gravy. Overall quality and quantity was good with this simple homemade taste. Service was friendly and yes, we took us home.
