Great place. Yummy food- deluxe french toast was light crispy with berries. Bacon bleu skillet had well balanced flavors. Great flavors. Good portions prices. Coffee is Fabulous! Even made me decaf. Friendly staff. Interior is classy not like a diner or basic restaurant that I was expecting. Definitely going back before vacation ends. Might even have to check out lunch!
I think what I enjoy most is the atmosphere. It’s a nice little spot to sit and relax, and I’ve been here several times. This time, I brought my partner and my mother-in-law. My favorite time to visit is definitely for breakfast. While some of their prices could be improved, I’ve never been disappointed with the food. I look forward to coming back soon!
"Visited on a Sunday and had a great experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, even though the restaurant was bustling with activity. The food was delicious and affordable, and our service was prompt. Overall, I would definitely come back to this beautiful, charming place."
This restaurant was an excellent choice for starting our morning! While the service wasn't lightning-fast, the waiter made it well worth the wait. The staff was wonderful, and the gentleman who served us was not only charming but also did an outstanding job, even during the busy morning rush (I believe his name was Caleb, though I'm terrible with names—sorry!). This place is definitely worth a visit! The decor was cozy, warm, and very inviting. Overall, it was a fantastic way to kick off the day.
Mary Cody's offers a mixed dining experience that sparks a range of opinions from patrons. While some appreciate the cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, and homemade breakfast options, others have encountered challenges such as long wait times, inconsistent service, and overcooked meals. The decor has been described as drab, with a disjointed menu failing to impress. However, instances of exceptional service, particularly during busy events like Mother's Day, highlight the staff's commitment to guest satisfaction. Overall, Mary Cody's embodies a charm that may appeal to some, but leaves others yearning for a more consistent and elevated dining experience.

I recently started coming here and while I've only been here twice I would definitely give it a 4.5/5. The food was priced fairly especially because it was really good ! I've tried a few different items off the menu and have loved everything. The staff was very friendly which made the experience that much better. The small deduction was just for the wait for food but it was worth it !
Mary Cody 's reminds me of a restaurant you would see on Restaurant Impossible . The space itself is split into a bar at the entrance with a restaurant in the back, a family friendly layout I guess. However the decor is unbelievably drab. I can just imagine Robert Irvine walking in and removing all the ancient dusty Italian decor which he would refer to as the dust collectors . The ambiance overall is a bit dark and dreary. As far as food, nothing on the menu blew me away. Very Cheesecake Factory vibes or what Robert Irvine would refer to as an identity crisis . The menu seems to be a jack of all trades but a master of none. Also, the menu is categorized by poultry, beef/pork, seafood, etc., a bit odd. Service was meh, slow, nothing memorable. Very standard I suppose.
I had the best brunch I've ever experienced! The service was excellent, and since it was my first time visiting, I will definitely be returning. I give it five stars. If you’re in the area, this place is an absolute must-visit!
I had the curry turkey burger and my boyfriend had Philly! Both homemade and amazing : Definitley our new spot!
Well, found an unexpected gem in Onalaska. This place is small, quiet, almost romantic.. We started with the blue chips... yum! House made potato chips, covered in crumbled bleu cheese and drizzled with a balsamic glaze... nachos style.. damn. Very creatice. Delicious! I opted for the Jam Burger.. a burger, cooked exactly how I ordered it, medium rare, with caramelized onions, fig jam and gouda cheese... Wow!!! It was as delicious and unusual as it sounds. What a great combo. I can only mention a few negatives... but not worth losing a star..could have been an off day.. and I have this 'complaint ' about a lot of places... the food didn 't come out piping hot! Ugh! Oh, and they serve pepsi products.. lol.. not much we can do about that. Overall, excellent and I hope to visit again soon.

Great food and generous portions! The waitress was excellent, and the prices were reasonable. We’ll definitely return! The only drawback is the limited parking, but the short walk in the rain was worth it. Food rating: 4/5.
I visited for the first time, and I was pleasantly surprised. The service was quick and friendly, and the food was absolutely delicious. This will definitely be my new favorite spot for fish! Food rating: 5/5.
I came across Mrs Winifred when she appeared as a guest on a Forex Podcast in USA. I was listening to and was very impressed with her straight forward approach and the principles of her

Very good Friday night fish. Friendly and prompt service. I would recommend.
Good food lots of it! Excellent waitress and not too expensive. We will be back! The only downside is limited parking but the short walk in the rain was worth it!
I really appreciate the atmosphere here more than anything else. It’s a nice little spot to relax, and I've visited several times. This time, I brought my partner and mother-in-law along. I especially love coming here for breakfast; it's definitely my favorite time to drop in. While I think some of the prices could be more reasonable, the food has never let me down. I can't wait to come back soon!
I had to pause my meal to write this review because I’m so impressed. I've traveled extensively, and this is hands down the best breakfast and one of the best dining experiences I've ever had! The food boasts gourmet-level flavors while maintaining a comforting, homemade quality. And that's not all—the atmosphere and the incredibly friendly, home-like service are among the best I’ve experienced. I highly recommend this place for special occasions or just a cozy day out. It’s truly amazing!

I think I enjoy the atmosphere more than anything. It?s just a decent little place to sit down and I?ve been here multiple times. Took my partner and mother-in-law here this time. My favorite time to stop in is definitely during breakfast. Theirprices could be better on certain things, but their food has yet to disappoint. Hope to visit again soon!!
Mary Cody and her catering staff were phenomenal. Not only was the food delicious, but it was presented and displayed in a deliciously inviting way. We had so many compliments from our guests on how wonderful the food was. Mary Cody met with usmultiple times to create a menu that was exactly what we were looking for, and that we were excited to share with our guests. She was also very conscientious of costs and made suggestions to help us save money where we could, while still ensuring greatquality.
I literally had to stop eating to share this review today. I have been all over this planet, and this is the best breakfast and one of the best places to eat I have ever encountered! The food is at gourmet level flavor yet has that homemade appeal. Butwait, there's more! The atmosphere and epic-level friendly home style service is among the best I've ever encountered. Highlyrecommended for special occasions and cozy days. Just amazing!
