The space is neat and well laid out for a cafe/remote work space. Service was average, neither overly great nor deeply disappointing. The coffee is a solid 4.5 stars. The latte and cortado were delicious and started the meal on a highnote. Unfortunately, the headstart provided by the coffee vanished as soon as the food arrived. The quiche was overly salted tothe point it wasn't entirely edible. Not only that, but the side of arugula salad was overdressed and underseasoned. Neitheritem was finished. The rosemary ham sandwich was a battle to make it through. The cheese was low quality, the ham was barelythere, the arugula was present but mixed with wilted or liquefied pieces, and the bread tested the strength of my teeth. I likea good chew in ciabatta, but it was rough. But even with all that, there's potential for a good sandwich. Except the amount ofdijon mustard on the sandwich overpowered any hopes of tasting anything but the stinging spice in my mouth and nasal cavity. Thechips on the side were just plain potato chips like any grocery store would carry. All said, I won't be back as there are othercoffee shops with equally as good coffee, and the food wasn't good enough to finish despite the high cost.
Amazing food, epic quality, craft coffee beverages and pastry. I honestly did not feel like I was in Omaha, NE being here. Fantastic service and food. I highly recommend.
I took my granddaughter to dinner before we went to see A Christmas Carol at the Playhouse. Chanelle was our server and was so very kind and attentive. The food is always delicious--everything tastes homemade. I always start with the soup of the day, and it never fails to satisfy! We shared a half-charcuterie board to begin, then I had the pasta while my granddaughter had the Spanish tortilla, which was more of a potato/egg casserole. She loved it, and brought leftovers home! They have a nice wine list with several interesting wines by the glass. We will definitely be back!
We were heading to a movie at film-streams. We got there early to insure we had enough time to eat. The server asked us if we were attending a movie so the kitchen could accommodate us. We had the very tasty pumpkin ginger soup, cauliflower steak on a carrot purée and the haloumi Salad. All tasty. Lots of good sourdough bread some served in the beginning with butter and then accompanying the soup (a garlic rosemary focaccia. Service and food were very good. A great start to the evening.
