A great place to enjoy your cup of coffee and hold meetings. I had their Asian crunch salad which honestly tasted so weird, the dressing is absolutely salty and the components of the salad itself does not work together. It's priced at around 500+ I also had a scoop of their mint chocolate chip ice cream that I absolutely adore. The ambiance of the Lobby Lounge at the EDSA Shangri-La is very welcoming and also relaxing. It’s good to spend your time here while waiting for an event. Good environment for chatting with your friends since tables are quite far apart. I ordered the Laksa noodles as an afternoon snack and it was good. The soup was more coconut-y and the generous serving of toppings and noodles made me quite full. Menu is on a tablet so you can see their efforts in helping the environment
First time I’ve been here was with my husband. We came from a party and wanted to have a quick nightcap. Very intimate place. Staff are so accommodating and attentive. Price is not so bad. Comparable to other decent dating place. Food taste good too. Nice to be here also with friends.
I love Edsa Shangri-la because it's near home and my favorite Chinese restaurant is luckily in this hotel so I m pretty frequently to this place! FOOD: I generally love their coffee and since I held my client meetings here, I invite them here. I often order Cappuccino and my father orders caffe latte. Their beauty is during serving, there are 3 distinct phases visible starting from milk at the bottom, followed by expresso coffee and then foam at the top. In theory, Cappuccino has less milk with more foamy texture and latte has the opposite. The coffee amount remains the same in both and that's what I clearly saw at Shangri-la. They maintain this throughout and it brings confidence to the brand. The price of a Cappuccino and Latte are P255 each and there's no price difference. Every time they serve the coffee with complimentary almond crusted vanilla cookies. Heavinly! AMBIENCE: I often prefer sitting near the window where there's a wonderful view of the hotel's garden which has fountains, flowers built. Sometimes when you are tired, I can look at my side and feel a bit relaxed. Additionally, a pianist and a violinist are often seen playing wonderful classic compositions like the famous Titanic song etc. SERVICE: Cordial, helpful, smiling. That's what makes the whole experience wonderful! I recommend everyone to try Lobby Lounge at Edsa Shangri-La.
My favorite place when I'm meeting someone or any of my friends that lives from the north since I'm a south kid, Ortigas is like the halfway. I love their cakes here and they have a surprisingly cheap tea, it's like around 200+ but of course the high quality is there. The staff are one of the friendliest I've ever experienced. The ambiance is so classy, the interiors are classy. It's just pure luxury, which I really love.
