Solid buffet in Tahoe for the value. Omelette bar that also do sandwiches. They have pancakes and waffles to order as well. Bagels, bread, pastries galore! Solid selection of breakfast foods, but limited on fruit and we pulled a peach that had mold on it .... When we told one of the servers he just said okay and didn't grab the rest of the peaches or anything ... that was off putting and why they only get a 4. Nice v... View all feedback.
What Rashid I doesn't like about Cascades:
My worst ever dinner in Tahoe! Cold meats, terrible pasta and $200 dinner for family of 4, 2 kids 7 and 10 and 2 adults. Absolutely horrible. Please make America healthy again and miss a dinner. We can survive. View all feedback.
Quality of the breakfast buffet was not the greatest, subpar and soggy. The amulets were fresh but very overall, very over priced.
I like to go with friends to this restaurant with my highest recommendations. I go their often. This recommendation is always successful. The dishes they serve are delicious and the crew is welcoming and cooperative. Every time we eat in this place we enjoy a pleasant time. highly recommended.
I celebrated my nomination earlier this evening in this excellent restaurant. happy to tell that we enjoyed a superb evening and the restaurant was undoubtedly the reason for that strong evening. The team helped in a graceful way, the meals were extremely good and my buddies were very pleased. We shall definitely return for more joyful events. thanks very much.
This place is absolutely one of the coolest place to eat in the area. Anytime I come there I am so satisfied. They keep their very high level service and the highest level of food they offer. You no doubt will love this restaurant. Very recommended.
So your onsite and you want a buffet, here is where you want to go... maybe for the hefty amount of 30/adult and 16/kid you may want to try other options, let me break down everything they have to offer Buffets are great when done right, this place is a pass, I do not recommend you eat here unless your going thru 2 plate minimum with the party that goes with you. If your kids eat like canaries and your spouse this is not the place for you haha. Why are the eggs so runny, scrambled eggs are more wet then the cereal my kids have on a daily basis, why so runny? selection of breakfast goods, here is the plus in my book, omelette station is where everything you want is, add, bell peppers, mushrooms, peppercini's, bacon, sausage, etc and what kind of cheese, properly made and delicious. For meats they have bacon some crunchy some chewy, go for the darker ones definitely can't go wrong with crunchy bacon, medium fatty sized sausage, grab 2 your first round to get a taste and see if you want more, ham...ham why?? haha, just don't like ham. chilaquiles (chips and cheese with sauce and sides of avocado, tomatoes) not my favorite and I had to pass just cause it looks like it had been sitting out longer then few hours and it was only 8am. Breads bagels (multiple choices) chive cream cheese, strawberry cream cheese, plain cream cheese, lox (salmon slices), some with seeds some without, bagels are definitely a plus. several option of toast, sourdough, wheat, whole grain, sadly no english butter and whip are right in front of these offerings, jams there where 2 dark jam and that yellow orangish type marmalade. The waffles precut in 4 portions, piping hot, premade not self made (have one see if you like it), my kids one said it was to dense (11yr old) the other said it tasted funny (6yr old), sampled I thought it was fine, slightly dense outside and softer towards the middle, slap some butter then syrup softened it up real quick. cereal options fruit loops, fruity pebbles, cherrios, honey bunches of oats, I believe 2 others were out there but I passed on all of these options. Parfait not super creamy, not sweet, blueberries and raspberries feathered on top, I would pass on this dish in a cup juices they are abundant, cran, orange, and two others didn't sample stuck with ice cold water, kids had milk wife had whole pitcher of coffee to herself lol chacuterie section, several cheeses, 3 meats, prosciutto was the only meat I could identify the others looked sadly dried out. again if you like buffets and don't want to leave campus I guess this is your only option but if all your family eats like canaries this is not the place you want to go, several other food options about 12 min out. food just stick with the omelette bar, crunchy bacon, and sausage price service helpful waitresses ambiance clean
