This is a popular spot for locals and the tourists who have come for the Sanctuary across the road. There’s quite a comprehensive menu chalked across several boards hung on the terrace. I’ve enjoyed a different dish every time I visit, even when I’ve made a rookie error – cabrillas are not actually little goats, they’re snails. There’s not much for vegetarians, but this is rural Andalucía so tough. When you finish eating, cross the road for a money shot of Olvera’s church and castle atop the pueblo blanco.
Cozy place in front of the Sanctuary where you can taste delicious and abundant food. The mushrooms with mojo, the impressive goat pâté, the croquettes..... All delicious and the nougat cake to take your hat off to. Service: Dine in Price per person: €20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Tapa de Aceitunas
