We were offered for Euro 25 per night for a two person tent a piece of rough ground amongst dishevelled permanent caravans and chalets next to some epically dirty bathrooms. This place has clearly seen neither investment or even running maintenance in years. And what’s with the armed guard on duty! Yes its the only camping actually close to old town Olot but since old town is dwarfed by the urban sprawl of 'new town ' on all sides, you are really not missing much if you keep going south to Camping La Fagada or better still Camping Les Presses Natura in the next village.
