What ALANCManchester doesn't like about Frydays Springhead:
It’s a good chippy, it has a nice little eat in section, cafe type, with free newspaper to read, portions are good, but, more than once, I’ve had to send a pie back, this, if you look in the warmer is a problem, If I am having take out, I have a good look and don’t choose the pies that look like they have been warmed up a dozen times! Please can all our customers accept our apologies for over the last few weeks for any chip issues you may have encountered, potato’s have seasons and unfortunately July August are mixed bags which is out of our control, the mixed potatoes all fry differently. We now have the new season potatoes in stock to provide the quality of chips we are all used to from the Frydays team View all feedback.

read moreFrydays Fish & Chips presents a charming atmosphere with a cozy café feel, welcoming diners with friendly service and a selection of complimentary newspapers. While most dishes are well-received, concerns linger regarding the quality of their pies and inconsistent portion sizes, particularly with takeaways. Some patrons have reported experiencing undercooked chips and less-than-fresh items, leading to disappointment. However, the freshness of the fish shines through, and the restaurant reassures customers by switching to new-season potatoes for improved quality. It's clear that Frydays has potential, but a commitment to consistency and customer care is needed for a truly stellar experience.
