The gluten-free menu at this restaurant is largely inappropriate for those with celiac disease, as many dishes may still contain gluten. I found this information poorly communicated but eventually figured it out on my own. What chris3628 dislikes about Dishoom:
I had a positive experience regarding food safety, but the menu options for those with celiac disease are very limited. The offerings are labeled as "gluten intolerant," and everything cooked on the grill carries a "may contain" warning, as they also prepare bread on the grill. View all feedback.

The staff were very knowledgeable about allergens and highlighted dishes that did not contain gluten, as well as those that might have a risk of contamination from the factories. This allowed us to make informed choices. The food was outstanding, and the service was equally impressive. I highly recommend trying the prawns as one of your main courses and the chocolate pudding for dessert.

They also make fresh bread using gluten flour in their kitchen, but they assured me they adhere to good cross-contamination practices.

I had an incredible vegan chickpea chana puri accompanied by perfectly puffed bread. It was warm and just the right amount of spice, paired with an amazing pot of almond-filled peshwari naan. The flavors were unique and fragrant. I highly recommend it!

I've had both breakfast and dinner at this restaurant, and I would recommend both, although dinner is my favorite! I highly suggest trying the Okra Fries and Gunpowder Potatoes. The atmosphere is lovely, and the service is excellent. It’s a bit pricey, but definitely worth it.
