A stylish restaurant. Fresh ingredients and a menu that's not overly extensive. There's something for every taste. Both soups were delicious. Perhaps a bit too much cream. The salads were excellent. Honest, friendly service, as the Oldenburg ice cream was unfortunately out of stock. It didn't matter that evening. Instead, we had a cocktail with lime. The spaghetti with shrimp was absolutely delicious. A regular schnitzel is also highly recommended. A definite recommendation.
Six of us went there for dinner on a Friday evening. After ordering, nothing happened at first. After 30 minutes, we asked where the drinks were. After about an hour, we received bread and a quark cream upon request. After another 20 minutes, the main courses finally arrived. My veal loin steak was good, both in terms of flavor and cooking time. But the bacon-wrapped beans were dry, and the rosemary potatoes were tasteless and overheated. The sherry jus also tasted very bland. Overall, a sad plate! A small side salad we ordered separately looked like it had been dressed an hour ago. There was no texture left. Of the six main courses we ordered, one was also forgotten. But it was then served promptly. Luckily, it was only a pasta dish. The service was inattentive and rarely came to the table. There was no apology later either, which seems to be normal on a Friday evening. There's a job posting at the entrance: cooks and servers wanted...
