Früher, vor den... read more Zunächst wundert es mich, dass man den Strohhalm bei den Restaurantbewertungen findet, weil hier gibt es kein Essen! Hier gibt es nur Getränke! Früher, vor den Nichtrauchergesetzten, konnte man hier leckeren Fingerfood oder Baguettes bestellen, aber das ist schon eine halbe Ewigkeit her. Wer als Oldenbürger ein gepflegtes Bier, Cocktail o.ä. allein oder mit Freunden, unter der Woche oder feierlich am Wochenende trinken möchte, geht in den Strohhalm. Das ist quasi nach Hause kommen, man trifft hier immer jemanden den man irgendwie kennt oder hält einen netten Plausch mit völlig Fremden. Im Strohhalm ist es gemütlich und für viele Raucher eine Insel. Das Personal ist lieb, manchmal frech, aber immer serviceorientiert! Danke, das es Euch gibt!

What can I say, great service overall, great atmosphere. Only thing that can bother a little for unsmokers is that you can smoke inside, which can get a little bit too much.

Quite a few people just sitting with their friends and minding their own businesses. It has a comfortable and chillaxing atmosphere. you can smoke and read magazine or doodle around just plain observing people or even watch tv.
