We were visiting Oldenburg to see some friends and they introduced us to this cafe as it was almost next door to our hotel (Hotel Antares).It was nice to get a... read more We were visiting Oldenburg to see some friends and they introduced us to this cafe as it was almost next door to our hotel (Hotel Antares).It was nice to get a lovely coffee and my partner loved the funky-looking tea strainer.Next time that we visit Oldenburg, we'll definitely go back again.(It's dog-friendly too!)

No I'm not exaggerating, if you want to have good coffee, made from quality beans, sourced by the store, a unique and cozy interior, warm and informative service, than this is the only place in town for you. (Unfortunately, but at least they exist! I highly recommend a visit even if you are not a fan of coffee in general, you might change your perception after this experience. ; January 2023 update: Still the same, excellent. ;

I felt warm and classy when walking through the front door, like a hidden gem in Oldenburg. The cafe itself is high in standard, much more crowded than I expected. My flat white was nicely done by friendly staff, as good as any other third wave coffee shop in major cities. It's located in a side street right in front of the Hauptbahnhof, so a few minutes walk from the usually-crowded area in town. In theory it should be relatively quiet, but the cafe is quite popular, be aware of the amount of customers it takes.
