I... read more The staff recommended a gingerbread latte to us. It was something I hadn’t tried before, but their enthusiasm convinced us to give it a go. I’m so glad I did! It came with free whipped cream and had a festive Christmas theme. The staff were incredibly friendly and eager to assist. It was definitely much better than Starbucks!

The place had a really interesting decor,... read more We had a fairly large group and all the other places were full. We were lucky that there was space here to fit us all. The place had a really interesting decor, lots of interestingly painted animals, many of which were purchasable. The menu has a fair selection of items and there is also some cabinet food. It was a bit disappointing how the specials menu on the back of the counter were items on the menu. I had a hard time picking between the scotch and the lamb shank and ended up with the shank. I was not disappointed. The nicely cooked shank had a really nice sauce over it as well as a jug of mint sauce. I'm not a big fan of mint sauce but this one was nice because it wasn't overly minty. The potato underneath was also quite delicious. It did get busy later on, particularly since they were streaming the North Vs. South rugby game. It was a nice place for dinner and has decent options for drinks too.
