Nestled in Perkins Cove, Oarweed stands out for its commitment to quality seafood and unforgettable views. Diners rave about the lobster rolls, characterized by fresh, generous lobster and just the right touch of mayo, alongside a range of other delectable dishes like clam chowder and crab cakes. The restaurant's authentic charm and personable service create a warm atmosphere that keeps patrons returning. While dining can be a bit pricey and service occasionally varies, the stunning waterfront setting, particularly at sunset, makes every visit worthwhile. For seafood lovers, Oarweed remains a beloved gem in the area.

We had heard a lot about the Oarweed, so we tried it the first night in Perkins Cove. We had both lobster rolls that my husband also had seafood cat. The food was wonderful! The lobster rolls were cold with a hint of Mayo, as we like them, instead of dripping with butter. Very fresh and tasteful. Views were also wonderful. We feel the price was a bit high compared to other places.

We had steamed mussels for appetizers, various chowders, salmon, 1 1/4 lb lobster. Finalized with Blueberry cake and vanilla ice cream. All the ducks were very delicious. Milosh our server has waited a great job on our table. We went to another popular restaurant, but closed on Sunday at 2 pm. We all felt that we ended up with a better restaurant!

What a great place. Not only the food delicious, but the host (owner? was so personal and helpful. Attitude is really everything. Back to dinner... I had a bowl of seafood knowers. Perfect! I recommend it about the Clam-Chowder, which I found clearly under spiced. The lobster roll is everything you want. BIG piece lobster with exactly the right amount of Mayo and wort. The Schellbrot was also delicious. Can't wait to return.

For more than twenty years, we've been visiting Oarweed and trying lobster dishes at various restaurants. The lobster here, whether served whole, in a hearty salad, or as a gigantic lobster BLT, is undoubtedly the best in the area. The stunning view included at no additional charge enhances this dining experience even further. We highly recommend Oarweed.

I've eaten at Oarweed three times over the past year, and my experiences have ranged from exceptional to just satisfactory. The quality of service and food varies with each visit. At times, I've had to wait a long time for a table, while other visits saw me seated immediately. The main allure of this restaurant is the breathtaking waterfront view at Perkins Cove, which provides a stunning backdrop for your meal. If you're looking for a memorable experience, be sure to time your visit for sunset. The food can be inconsistent. I’ve tried various dishes, including the seafood chowder (4/5), shrimp cocktail (3.5/5), and crab dip (a perfect 6/5, though sadly removed from the menu because the owner is too stingy with crab - BRING BACK THE CRAB DIP!). The replacement, artichoke and spinach dip, was decent (3/5). Other items like the seafood trio (4/5), crab cakes (3.5/5), and blueberry beer (5/5) were enjoyable as well. Despite the fluctuating food quality, the gorgeous setting alone makes this place worth a visit.
