Delicious classic breakfast spot located near the city. The pancakes are fluffy and delightful, and the sides were cooked to perfection. The cookies are incredibly soft and airy! The standout feature was the cheerful and friendly staff. We arrived during peak hours and only waited 10 minutes as a party of three, and were promptly seated. This is definitely the best classic breakfast place in Ogunquit! View all feedback.
What Patricia Picard doesn't like about Egg I:
The restaurant had a typical cafeteria/diner vibe. Unfortunately, the hostess and owner were the rudest people I've ever encountered. I informed them there were three of us, yet they seated us for only two, insisting we wait for the third person before being seated. Great breakfast place. My daughter and I went to school for a special breakfast. I had the Amaretto French Toast. It was excellent. Service was great, the facilities were clean and the food was excellent.
Waited about 20 minutes when we went here and the food was so tasty! Be mindful that it’s cash only. Service was quick and coffee was good. No complaints, and I’d recommend the lobster Benedict!
We were in Wells for our mini-honeymoon and went here for breakfast on Tuesday. The wait was about 20-30 minutes but we’ll worth the wait! We ordered coffee, a blueberry muffin that was warmed on the grill with blueberry butter, Lobster Benedict and an Irish Benny. Everything was delicious and the staff was very friendly! We will be back!
First breakfast in town since moving to Ogunquit. You have to try the banana nut pancakes and if you're lucky you'll sit in Mike's section! One of the friendliest servers I've had in my life. Update: went back with my husband and tried the fruit cup, iced coffee, and coconut French toast! Did not disappoint.
Awesome breakfast. The biscuits in my biscuits and gravy were light, fluffy, crunchy outside . . . Amazing. I would just have liked for them to split the biscuits and put the gravy on it instead of serving it whole. Great sausage gravy, home fries, pancakes, and the eggs were cooked perfectly!
