Café Voyage - Offenburg

It looks like any train station café but thanks to us having to wait for our train we ended up here and enjoyed a fantastic service. No better way waiting for a train. Oh and DO try the "Flädle Soup". It was so good I almost ordered two for myself. ;-)

This is a cute little café that is very practical for anyone who uses public transportation. It is in a strategic position - between the main bus station and train station - in Offenburg. I went there just to have desserts and a cup of coffee because I had to kill one hour before my train. The café had regular breakfast and lunch food, ice cream and other desserts. I have gone passing this place many times and have often seen it full. Many take their breakfast to go as well.When I was there it was after the lunch hour, but they still had customers. They had a good selection of ice cream, which made it popular anytime during summer. The place was managed by a very nice elderly man and a woman who were working like bees.It is probably not the place to go to celebrate your birthday or anniversary, but it is a great place while waiting for your public transportation.

Best café in town, good food and perfect service. Family business, very warm atmosphere.

The cake is delicious, the coffee strong, the location optimal. However, the device could be slightly polished and the crockery set up could be replaced. Overall recommended for the short stop between two trains.
