Tully's Taproom - O'Fallon
Tully's Taproom
Description
Tully's restaurant has garnered mixed reviews, reflecting a notable decline in overall quality since under new ownership. Customers lament the removal of favorite menu items and express disappointment over inconsistent service, including burnt appetizers and issues with honoring promotions. While some patrons appreciate quick service and the welcoming atmosphere, others criticize the loud, unruly environment, especially during busy evenings. The food quality is hit or miss, with some dishes praised and others falling short of expectations. Overall, Tully's struggles to balance its once-charming local vibe with a current party scene, leaving many long-time patrons disheartened.

Let 's start with the best and work our way down... Service was a little slow to start (understandable on a Friday night), but once our waitress saw us, she was top notch, and she had a LOT of tables. Greatness against impossible odds. Food I have no specific complaints about aside from the descriptions on the menu v. reality. The colossal dip could have been eaten in about six bites by an 8th grader. Taste was good, as were the fries. Wings, for being a featured item, we 're good, but when something is hyped up... anyway, the Thai Chili sauce was great. Atmosphere. Ugh. Here we go. The interior itself looks awesome. I 'm sure during weekday lunch it 's fine, but there were people around us that were so loud, typing in caps wouldn 't do it justice. It was so bad my wife went outside while I paid the check. It was just an exceptional combination of drunk and stupid. So the actual physical environment was great, but the clientele made it so unpleasant as to spoil the experience. And I 'm used to being around loud people, but this was a 20 on a scale of ten.
Rick’s Picks score 100/130 Chicken Cesar wrap, fries, cheese curds Intermittent music, good atmosphere, provel at an Irish Bar? I overdid it. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $30–50
Food was great, atmosphere was amazing with live music. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
The service was very welcoming and the atmosphere was fantastic, giving off the cozy vibe of a small neighborhood pub. The food was delicious, particularly the Margarita Pizza and Reuben sandwich. We also enjoyed two draft beers. Our total bill came to $39, including tip. The restaurant offers dine-in service for dinner, with prices ranging from $10 to $20 per person. We would highly recommend trying the Reuben sandwich.
