First time here and only staying 100m away food was brilliant and very well presented not what we were expecting at all.. If all their food is as good as this they will go far..
Restaurant Quebra Bar at Praia da Franquia, Vila Nova de Milfontes, Portugal, was a nice place to drink something, but not to eat. There is a new owner and we reckoned the situation to be better. There, positively, have been changes, it looks nice, but that is all. It started when we ordered our lunch today, the tuna and the shrimps were not available... Joan got his hot octopus meal immediately and when he nearly finished, Elsemiek got her Italian hamburger! Nothing special. The bill was extraordinary high for a simple lunch, for a glass of white wine they charged € 5,00 !! A very high price to normal quality. We didn't have such a bad experience before in Portugal, where we are since so many years already. Motivation: our restaurant is at the beach! We DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE, restaurant QUEBRA BAR VILA NOVA DE MILFONTES....
Terrible service, 1hour and 30 min waiting for 2 burgers and nothing special about it , in the mind time a starter cold and salty coming to the table with out been order , at the end to pay the overpriced bill was killing all , prices on the menu it’s with out vat taxes , what a scums, 76€ for 2 burgers 1 prawns starter 1. Sangria 2 pints and the chairs and umbrella to half day , we pay for the olives bread and butter also with out asking for it … to many staff and was not busy at all , a dodge place looks like , no recommended as we been well served in many other places after and near by.VERY BAD
We ordered Italian, Alentejo, Nepalese and Portugal hamburgers and they were delicious. Freshly made with quality ingredients. Inês suggested the passion fruit sangria, which was delicious and refreshing. Continuing the meal, Inês was always advising you on the best products of the house and ended the meal with the passion fruit cheesecake and the Algarvean delight. At the end, Inês drank a medronho with my family, a typical drink of the área. So good the food the staff, the place, we definitely will come back.
