Tasca Do Celso - Odemira

I am back in this Restaurant after a couple of years and- yes it is still on an amazing level regarding food taste and the variations of wine they offer. My special thanks to Pedro for his excellent choice. We enjoyed an adventure of Portuguese cooking- every little dish had his story to tell. e.g. little tuna with Dijon mustard and smoked courgette with sweet potatoes. One dish which was very unique was the mint lemon mousse with basil. I am looking forward for my next visit.

Went here for our 25th wedding anniversary celebrations whist on a cycling trip Lisbon to Algarve. Our route took os to this lovely town of Vila Nova de Milfontes. The cycling company (Cycling Rentals) had recommended it as a special place for a special meal. It did not disappoint. We were in the main front area but we noticed there are many rooms to the restaurant. The front was the nicest! Ambiance was lovely, food amazing we had oysters, the grilled squid, grouper. Our waiter Fransisco could not have been more helpful with wine and other information. Ended with first Porto of the holiday. Expensive to but worth it for a special occasion!
