However, during our last vi... read more We usually make it a point to visit this restaurant whenever we're in Ocracoke because the food is typically delicious and reliable. However, during our last visit, we found that some of the clam strips were undercooked and had raw batter. The macaroni and cheese was also lacking in flavor. On a positive note, the crab and shrimp dip appetizer was definitely a standout.

Since this is the first restaurant you encounter after arriving on the Ocracoke ferry, it tends to get very busy during ferry arrival times.

The food and service were exceptional. Just a word of advice: be ready to spend a bit! A kids' meal with two chicken tenders and four hush puppies is priced at $12.
