I visited this restaurant in 2018, before the recent hurricane damage, and I had the best crab cakes I’ve ever tasted. They were accompanied by roasted root vegetables, which I initially thought I wouldn’t like, but I was completely wrong! The veggies were fantastic, and the crab cakes were truly the best I’ve ever had. I can’t wait to go back again. COVID-19, please go away! View all feedback.

My daughters, a friend, and I had a wonderful dining experience. The food, service, and cocktails were all outstanding. The fig appetizer was the most delicious thing we’ve ever tasted. Every time we visit Ocracoke, we make sure to eat there. Thank you for a lovely evening!
We absolutely love the Flying Melon! The food is fantastic, and the cocktails, appetizers, and desserts are equally impressive. The service is outstanding, and the restaurant itself is gorgeous. It's definitely the best place for fish on the island! We can't wait to return next year!
