I ordered one item and it took a long time to arrive. When I approached the counter, the cashier asked another lady to get my order, which made me feel like they don’t appreciate small orders. She even initially asked if I wanted a large vegetable fried rice, which felt off. This seems like poor customer service. I ordered more food the day before without any wait, but the food was bland. They charge a lot for low-quality food. I gave them a second chance, but I’ve definitely taken the hint—I won’t be coming back.
The food at China Star is good, but the prices for my usual orders have increased by about 30%. I used to visit weekly, but now I can't justify spending this much at a regular Chinese restaurant.
