The restaurant was not crowded (although we did have a 9pm reservation) and I could only think that the word has not gotten out about how amazing the food is here. It was one of our best meals during our entire trip and that includes the portion we spent in Lisbon!

The food was inventive, beautiful, and delicious. It 's the most memorable meal I 've had in 10 years. The service was wonderful; I went with the server 's recommendation for every course, and he was spot on. Good wine pairings. I still dream about the goat cheese sorbet and the squid pasta .

We were so happy... read more We had the best dinner at Emprata tonight! My husband and I are staying at the hotel and noticed the sign for a tasting menu at the restaurant. We were so happy we did because so far it has been the best meal we have had in Portugal! Everything from the amazing food, the calming ambience and and attentive staff really made our meal amazing! Eduardo was so friendly and ensured we were taken care of. The menu was great- I have the tuna appetizer, the grouper entree and the cornucopia desert. My husband had the burrata as well and it was great. If we were not leaving the area today, we would go back an additional time. We will have to come back and visit again! Highly recommend coming here, especially if you are a hotel guest- as it is definitely the best restaurant at the resort.
