We ordered seafood dishes and we loved them. The spices are light, but the taste is delicious. This restaurant received a Michelin star in 2016 and 2018. My partner, liz and I booked a table for Friday 11th October. My birthday. The staff were very welcoming and pleasant. The service from them was excellent. They were very polite and talkative. Liz had venison, I had steak. Delicious. When we were having our dessert the waitress brought mine out with a candle and happy birthday written on my plate in chocolate. I was surprised and very pleased that they did this. A very nice evening having dinner. So much, we booked for the Saturday night too. I had blade of Aberdeen angus. Liz had spiced cauliflower croquettes. We can't fault the food, staff or venue. Superb..... The food was very well presented and tasted great. It was a fantastic experience going there. I highly recommend this restaurant. We will be back when in oban again.
