Beautiful atmosphere, good vibes, friendly service. The food leans healthier if that's your thing. And it's entirely vegan. We thought that the guacamole was basic, the brownie was good, the strawberry ice cream was icy (avoid it), and the bon bons were impressive.

A very relaxing, tasty experience. I had the traditional wedding dish with mole negro and rice. Best mole I've had in Oaxaca so far. Enjoyed discussing the food using my limited Spanish with a server who had limited English. Their patio (in back) was very pleasant.

We joined this the gastronomic tour with our knowledgeable and energetic guide Daniel, who allowed us to experience a real Mexican market which we would have never ventured in on our own. Learn about indigenous ingredients and preparations on this very informative tour!

The culinary tour of the markets was a 10/10! Daniel was a fabulous guide and the food we tried was amazing. A must do if you’re in Oaxaca city.

The review is about the cooking class. I must say that I did enjoy the activity but it was much different than what I expected from a cooking class. To begin the group was BIG (18 people). We went to the market together but since the group was so big and the aisles in the market are small it was a bit uncomfortable as no one really heard what was going on. To be honest the chef could have made more an effort to explain and show the ingredients. Then we went to the kitchen, it's a big kitchen. He explained all the ingredients but that's it. He just gave everyone a task without explaining what you're making and someone and could get the next step. So I still have no idea how to make the things that we prepared. It was quite chaotic. One moment you were dicing onions and then he told you to grill some veggies. The food though was delicious (portion was a bit small)! So it's a fun activity but not a cooking class.
