Absolutely wonderful! We went to El Destilado for my husband's birthday with his family and we did the tasting menu. What Stuart Yorston doesn't like about El Destilado:
We had the 6 course degustation and a couple of real top class dishes (the risotto with mushrooms and the chilled tomato soup). Other than these it was a little underwhelming with either lack of flavour or poorly cooked (a rib eye dish was over cooked meat, over powering sauce and barely cooked vegetables). Simply amazing. We've eaten at a lot of excellent and renowned restaurants and this was possibly my favourite meal of all time. The taste combinations were stunning and so much passion has gone into this place, you can literally taste it. Stunning.
