I was particularly i... read more Everyone from the hostess to the servers was incredibly friendly at Viridian! I loved the interior decor—it really sets a great atmosphere. I was particularly intrigued by the Asian-inspired desserts and drinks, and I’m glad we stopped by after dinner. It seems to be first-come, first-served. We got our names on the list and were lucky to be seated within 15 minutes. Ordering was simple—you scan a QR code and order from your phone, then your server brings your items out. Just a heads up: around 8:30 PM on a Saturday, some items were already sold out. I tried the Tiger Boy cocktail, which had a very strong umami flavor. It seemed to contain shiitake, maybe shiitake water, as that’s what it tasted like. It was served in an adorable little glass tiger poured over a clear block of ice. The presentation and concept were great, but the shiitake flavor was quite overpowering for me. The White Rabbit cocktail was more subtle, but I couldn’t really detect the white rabbit flavor at all. The Escape to Guava Island also had potential, but unfortunately, I didn’t taste any guava with each sip. The desserts were beautifully decorated, though the flavors were just okay. Overall, Viridian is a great place to try out once or twice, but it’s not somewhere I’d return to regularly.

I must say, the atmosphere, service, and food and drinks were all excellent. I highly recommend this bar if you're seeking great drinks, delicious food, and wonderful desserts!

I consider myself a creme brûlée connoisseur given it’s my all time favorite dessert, and I was shocked by how much I loved this one, especially given it appeared to be a Gatorade blue color. Usually vanilla bean creme brûlée is what floats my boat, but I could have eaten 2 of these by myself (unfortunately I had to share 1 with 2 other people). They also have unique and delicious cocktails with fun glassware (but the drink itself could stand alone even without a fun cup, which isn’t always the case other places). I wish I took a photo of our dessert, but unfortunately we dug in too quickly. Would highly recommend a visit for drinks, dessert, or just a fun vibe.
