Surely an acoustics expert could make some simpl... read more I’ve been to Shakewell previously the only reason I don’t go more often is the noise levels are outrageous. Surely an acoustics expert could make some simple recommendations for reducing the high decibel noise level. It’s a major detractor. It’s just not fun to have to shout at one’s dining companion(s). But the food is fantastic, it’s just not relaxing to eat amidst so much noise.

Also, I tend to not enjoy having a TV visible, since I'm distractible. If you have good hearing and don't mind a TV visible in a restaurant, then you'd probably give this place stars.
